Los Angeles, CA, September 21, 1998 – The Board of Directors of Westfield America, Inc. (NYSE: WEA) today declared a dividend for the third quarter, ending September 30, 1998, of $0.355 per share or $1.42 on an annual basis. During 1997, the effective dividend rate was $1.40 per share. The dividend is payable October 30, 1998, to shareholders of record on September 30, 1998
